A Bit About Me

I am a proud multiply disabled woman working towards career goals in spreading disabled joy. I use identity first language personally, so it is used throughout this website, however, if you prefer person first language when referring to yourself I will use that for you.

The representation of disability for so long has been that of stigma, harm, and erasure. My work hopes to reduce stigma associated with disabilities, primarily the ones I and my family members hold. My work reduces harm done towards disabled individuals by representing us all truthfully and individually. My work brings light to disability issues and topics with light ease while also conveying the heavy truths so many of us know to those who don’t.

I am a multiply talented individual who works in graphic design, communications, digital accessibility, trainings, course preparation, and various disability research topics. If you would like to reach out to me for your next project – or to discuss how I can help you to become more inclusive to disabled bodies like mine, please reach out via my email listed above.
